NYC RSVPs started as a tiny, no-framework HTML/CSS/JS site to solve a personal problem: remembering and calculating exactly when reservations open at the NYC restaurants I wanted to book. It was also my first foray into coding with AI.
After I shared the site on Reddit it grew organically through search, drew a steady base of weekly users, and was later featured in the Wall Street Journal.
